- DD17 Levee Slide Repair (located in Dell, AR). This market survey is for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information request. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of firms interested in participating in the competition to compete and perform a fixed price construction contract. The Government will not pay for any information provided as a result of this market survey. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District is planning to solicit/award a contract to experienced source(s) capable of performing a wide range of construction contracts. The work consists of repairing a levee slide and also repairing a storm water erosion location around an existing surface inlet. The levee slide shall be repaired with the uses of geogrid. Also, as part of this work the contractor shall remove and replace an existing diesel fuel supply line and needed utilities. The contractor shall provide a temporary diesel fuel supply line during the time of construction should the facility need to operate. The levee slide is approximately 100' long by 60' wide by 15' deep. All interested, capable, qualified and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this sources sought synopsis. The Government is requesting interested contractors to furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address: (2) Type of Business (small, small disadvantaged, service disabled veteran, women-owned or HubZone small business concerns); (3) State your bonding capacity as of date of your response. All responses will be reviewed for preliminary planning purposes in determining future acquisition strategy. (4) Provide no more than five (5) references, of most recent and relevant contracts, performed within the last three (3) years of work same/similar in nature to this requirement. Include name, address, telephone number, and email address of references. Also provide a brief description of work performed, contract number, total contract value, and period of performance. Submission of information should be limited to not more than five (5) pages. Please provide affirmation that your firm can comply with the following minimum requirements: FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, which requires a small business concern perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this requirement is $36.5 million. The estimated cost of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The U. S.
