Description
The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central is issuing this Sources Sought Notice on behalf of San Antonio Military Medical Center, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Any responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used for planning purposes only. Bsaed on the responses to this notice, the requirement may be set-aside for small businesses, procured through full-and-open competition, or result in a sole-source contract. This notice is not a solicitation of offers, nor is it a notice to proceed. The San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) has a requirement for Viral Load Testing. The required testing includes Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Cytomegalovirus (CMV), and Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Combined, over 80,000 samples require processing per year at SAMMC. Vendors that consider themselves capable of providing the required testing are invited to submit a capability statement for the Government to consider via email to the Point of Contact listed herein. This capability statement shall include the following: 1. Vendor name (to include CAGE code and DUNS number); Point of Contact (to include e-mail address and phone number); business size. 2. Documentation that demonstrates the capability of its equipment to perform the tests listed above. This documentation shall include information such as, but not limited to: a. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval; b. Platform physical characteristics (e.g., dimensions, sample/specimen handling capacity per hour); c. Any software that would interface with existing Government systems must have successfully undergone the Department of Defense Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP); submit proof of such certification as part of statement. NOTE: If the software would be self-contained via an "on-board" computer, so state. 3. Timeline for installation of equipment upon receipt of an official notice to proceed (i.e., number of days from receipt of notice to completed installation on site). Capability statements shall be submitted by 21 February 2017, 10:00 am Central, in order to be considered.
