Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, VA Portland Health Care System (VAPHCS), located at 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Rd, Portland, OR 97236, in accordance with FAR 13.501, intends to solicit from a single source. CareFusion has sole proprietary rights for servicing the Alaris Analytic Software, in Portland. The NAICS Code is 339112 and the size standard is 1000 Employees. The statutory authority for restricting competition under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, or Single Sourcing, is 41 U.S.C. 253(c), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide servicing the Alaris Analytic Software, in Portland. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 pm (PST) on February 17, 2017. All responses must be e-mailed to lynn.williams6@va.gov.
