Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Officer, has a requirement to study and evaluate Sockeye migration with a volitional innovative passage transport system over Cle Elum Dam. Reclamation is seeking alternative methods to transport fish upstream. Technology is being studied to determine if there is a viable adult passage option that could provide a significant saving in infrastructure cost and/or O&M annual expenditures compared to traditional adult passage facilities. Traditional systems such as fish ladders, and trap and haul systems are not acceptable for this study. The period of performance is June 1, 2017 to October 31, 2017. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541330, Engineering Services. The applicable service code is B516, Fisheries and Animal Studies. Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, R17PS00388, (written) is approximately the third week of February 2017. The anticipated closing date is February 23, 2017. The anticipated award date is the last few days of February 2017.
