Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice North Texas VAHCS - Dallas anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract for the Sam Rayburn Memorial VA Center to repair a concrete parking lot. The procurement number is VA257-17-Q-0349 and is located at 1201 E 9th St, Bonham, Texas, 75418. The Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment, supervision and construction services necessary to demo existing sidewalk and install (1) new sidewalks & (2) wheelchair ramps for Bldg.1 main entrance at the Sam Rayburn Memorial VA Center located in Bonham, TX in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). All necessary testing and commissioning is required. Work includes: repairing concrete, installing rebar, site work, electrical work and adding new clean up. This project also requires the necessary tie-in points to the existing infrastructure. The Contractor shall visit the site to determine the full extent of the work. Failure to inspect the site will not constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. All numbers are approximate. Contractor needs to verify all amounts. If there is a discrepancy in the amounts provided and or any condition affecting work shall be brought to the attention of the VA Representative. All work is to be accomplished at Sam Rayburn Memorial VA Center, Bonham, Texas. Work includes alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary removal of existing structures and construction of other items. The period of performance is 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP) The method of procurement shall be Request For Quote (RFQ) in accordance with Parts 13 and 36 of the FAR, with an estimated solicitation release date of on or about February 13, 2017 and a quote due date on or about February 28, 2017. The VA reserves the right to use only Federal Business Opportunities/FedBizOpps (FBO) website www.fbo.gov via the internet, to provide notification of any amendments to this requirement and to post the subsequent RFQ solicitation. It is the contractor s responsibility to view the FBO website daily for any amendments to this requirement and to obtain the RFQ, Specifications, and Drawings. This procurement is a competitive offer and the solicitation will be advertised as 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127), offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The NAICS Code is 238110, with a business size standard of $15 Million. Probable Cost Range: Between $25,000 and $50,000.
