Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Hamilton Alliance Inc. DUNS 184748171, in accordance with the statutory authority 41 USC 4106(c) as implemented by FAR Subpart 16.505(b)(2)(i)(A), The agency need for the supplies or services is so urgent that providing a fair opportunity would result in unacceptable delays. The purpose of this contract is to provide Waste Management Services for a period of 3 months, to allow enough time to develop and compete a long term contract. This acquisition is being procured under NAICS Code 562111. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The contractor shall continue to provide Waste Management Services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
