Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide construction of SOF Special Tactical Facility, Phase 3, at Fort Bragg, Aberdeen Training Facility, Hoke County, North Carolina. This work includes the construction of a new building of approximately 25,900 SF, a building of approximately 29,300 SF, a storage building of approximately 9,860 SF, a maintenance facility/equipment barn of approximately 32,900 SF and a covered parking facility of approximately 12,400 SF to serve as operations and training facilities, ISU storage facility, maintenance and storage, and covered parking. Building functional areas includes radio/comp and weapons storage, team offices, cadre suite, classrooms, combative room, vehicle bays, cages, conferences room, communications, latrines, security systems, electrical/mechanical spaces, operations suites, conference room, communications and electrical spaces, mechanical rooms, security system and storage areas. The storage facility includes storage, cage storage, drive thru loading area and cargo build area. The maintenance/equipment barn functional areas includes boat and vehicle maintenance areas, offices, tire storage, fabrication shop, barn with work areas, conference room, latrines, communication and electrical spaces, mechanical rooms, and storage areas. The covered parking facility includes parking for various vehicles and other operational support assets. Support facilities include water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, parking lots with access driveways, walks, curbs, electrical and communications systems, exterior lighting and landscaping. Electric services include conditioned (isolated, filtered and regulated) power to service computers and computer based communications equipment. Protected wire distribution system will be provided to building from a manhole to the site. Antiterrorism/Force protection measures and sustainment mandates will be incorporated. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. Network analysis will be required. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about March 1, 2017. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation. After completing SAM, in order to download documents contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov.
