Description

VA69D-17-Q-0066 Notice of Intent to Sole Source reference FAR 6.302-1. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is procuring a holmium laser for the Hines, IL VA Medical Center in Hines, IL. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW FAR 6.302-1, Public Law (PL) 109-461, and 38 U.S.C. 8127 Veterans First benefits program a contract to KPaul Properties 5616 W. 74th Street Indianapolis, IN 46278 as a responsible and authorized source to provide the above-mentioned equipment. The authority issued by Public Law (PL) 109-461 requires VA to increase contracting and subcontracting opportunities for SDVOSBs and VOSBs. The applicable NAICS Code is 339112 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and/or capability by responding to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers, and there is no solicitation available. However, all responses received by 11:00am CST 2/17/2017 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
