Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Provide preventive maintenance service on all centrifuges and other included instruments bi-annually on the government owned equipment for the Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC), located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 will be soliciting offers to provide preventive maintenance service on all centrifuges and other included instruments bi-annually on the government owned equipment for the Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC). A request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-00277 is being re- issued on or about February 14, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is March 1, 2017 (or date of award) through February 28, 2018 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 million. The classification code is J065. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
