- The industry day has come and gone. Thank you all who particiapted. This notice is to post the slides, the questions and answers from the event and one-on-ones, and the list of all participants. A response is not required at this time. This is simply a posting of information from the February 1st DoD OIG Industry day event. Thank you Request for Information/Industry day invitation Information Technology Support Services Department of Defense Education Activity on behalf of Department of Defense Office of Inspector General The Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General's (DoD OIG), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) requires support services covering a full range of technical, functional and managerial expertise to support the DoD OIG's Information Technology (IT) program initiatives. Please review the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for details of the requirement. This Request for Information (RFI) is being used as a market research tool to obtain feedback on this requirement and to invite interested parties to participate in an Industry day event to be held at the Mark Center on Wednesday February 1st at 10:00 a.m. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 519190. Industry day details: Date & Time: Wednesday February 1st 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Location: 4800 Mark Center Drive, Alexandria, VA. Room #3 (Auditorium) Level B1 Purpose: The purpose of the industry day is to allow the Government and interested parties to share information pertaining to the DoD OIG's Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) requirement. The Government intends to provide a brief of the requirement and answer questions from interested parties. In addition, interested parties will be afforded a private 20-minute breakout session with the Government to discuss the ITSS requirement. Guidelines/Instructions: 1. Limits on attendees - Interested parties will only be allowed to have a total of two (2) representatives (per company) present for both the industry day brief and or any subsequent one-one session. 2. Access - All attendees will be required to present a valid government issued photo identification (driver's license or passport) for entry to the Mark Center. 3. Escort - All non-active Government CAC holders will require escorts to move about the Mark Center at all times. All interested parties requiring an escort will need to be present at the Mark Center visitor's lounge between 0900-0945 Wednesday morning February 1st. Any interested party who arrives at the Mark Center visitor's lounge after 0945 will not be guaranteed an escort and will be at risk of not being able to attend the industry day event. It is critical that all interested parties show up on time (0900-0945) as all Government personnel associated with this event will be seated at the conference room by 0945 and unavailable to escort any late arrivals. 4. Request for one-on-one session - All parties interested in a 20-minute one-on-one session with the Government to discuss this requirement will need to send their request to the email listed in this RFI. Interested parties will then receive an email with their scheduled time slot. It is possible that one-on-one sessions will carry over to Thursday February 2nd. 5. Parking - Parking is not available at the Mark Center for this event. Interested parties may park at nearby parking garages at their expense. The Hilton hotel across the street from the Mark Center is also available for parking at the interested party's expense. 6. Registration - Participants must register no later than close of business on Friday January 27th, 2017, by sending an email to eddie.tavares@hq.dodea.edu with "Industry Day Registration" in the subject line. The email should include the attendee's first and last name, organization, email address, telephone number and request for one-on-one session, if desired. A reply email confirming the registration and applicable one-on-one session will be sent. There is no registration fee for attending this conference. The Industry Day will be unclassified and open to the general public. 7. Feedback - The Government is interested in receiving constructive feedback on the requirement either in writing via email to the email listed in this RFI, during the industry day event, or during any one-on-one session. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, DODEA is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI or subsequent industry day; all costs associated with responding to this RFI or attending the industry day will be solely at the interested party's expense. Submissions will not be returned. Failure to respond to this RFI or participate in the industry day does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If an RFP is issued, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this effort.
