SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY This is a sources sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran owned small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 611310. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on GSA. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affair, Network Contracting Office 19, is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Institutional Review Board (IRB) services for VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System. The Vendor shall be in compliance with all VA regulations, shall perform all the functions required under 38 CFR 16 (Common Rule) for reviewing and approving human research conducted under the auspices of VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System (VASLCHS). Interested vendors shall provide the items listed below: A capabilities Statement showing how you plan on meeting this requirement (3 to 10 pages) Proof of FDA IRB Registration (https://www.va.gov/ORO/IRB.asp) with your Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) Database Number (http://ohrp.cit.nih.gov/search/).
