- This is not a request for proposal, nor an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation notice is to identify potential offerors for Exterior/Interior Painting, and Misc Repairs related to painting, of Single and Multiple Story Facilities at Various U.S. Government Installations, Okinawa, Japan. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision and management to perform Exterior/Interior Painting, and miscellaneous repairs, if required prior to painting, for Single and Multiple Story Facilities at various U.S. Government Installations, Okinawa, Japan by means of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. This acquisition will result in Firm-Fixed-Price Single Award Indefinite- Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract for base period and four option periods. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://asia.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available on the AsiaNECO website. No hard copies will be provided. Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the AsiaNECO website for any posted changes. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the AsiaNECO website for any amendments issued to the solicitation. This procurement is intended only for local sources in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12). Local sources are those persons or entities that normally reside and are licensed to conduct business in Japan. Offers from non-local sources will not be considered under this solicitation in accordance with provisions of the U. S. Japan Status of Forces Agreement.
