- Synopsis The Regional Contracting Office-MCIWEST, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA, has a requirement to provide Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaisance (ISR) propellar driven aircraft support services in support of a training event at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Yuma, AZ. The period of performance is expected to begin on March 15, 2017 for pre-course preparation, with the flight training portion occuring from 1-3 April. The anticipated procurement will be a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or around February 17, 2017 for ISR aircraft support services. This is not a request for responses. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 611512 "Flight Training" with a size standard of $27.5M. Conducting Business with the Government In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Information on registering in SAM may be obtained by calling (866) 606-8220 or via the internet at http://www.sam.gov. When available, the solicitation documents for this project will be accessible via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. No CDs or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice.
