- This project is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this project is 237310. The small business size standard is no greater than $36.5 million in average annual receipts over the past three years. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet both Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov). The William Kent Campground Construction project of 2017 mainly consists of the installation of accessible concrete pathways to all 6 restrooms within the campground, as well as the reconstruction of several paved camping spurs (8 in the base bid, with an option to award up to 16 additional spurs). The work includes cutting trees, placing boulders, moving campsite amenities, constructing permanent drainage structures, and installing new concrete and asphalt pavement, including the grading of existing ground and placement of aggregate. The campground will be open during construction, requiring both vehicular and pedestrian traffic control to ensure the safety of the public. The Government's estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation package will be uploaded when ready, approximately March 2, 2017. The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 and 36.213-2 requirements. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for amendments.
