- This announcement is to provide notice that a sole source commercial, firm fixed price contract award is anticipated. The 115th Fighter Wing at Dane County Regional Airport -Truax Field, Madison, WI intends to procure Japanese encephalitis (JE) vaccine from Intercell USA, 910 Clopper Rd, Ste 160S, Gaithersburg, MD, supplier of Ixario Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine. Intercell USA is the sole supplier of FDA approved and licensed JE vaccine to the military in the United States. To meet the solicitation requirements, prospective offerors must have the ability to provide an FDA Licensed JE vaccine to the United States military. The Government intends to purchase approximately 445 doses, to be delivered within two weeks of award. This procurement shall be issued using other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive quotations, but parties purporting to have the requisite credentials to provide this supply must furnish in writing, factual information, which clearly support and demonstrates evidence of such abilities. This information must be sent via email to Scott Homner, Contract Specialist, by 24 February 2017 NLT 1100 hrs CST. Responses to this notice will not be returned and responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on any responses from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
