- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this for market research purposes only. Should a formal solicitation be released, it may be through the Federal Business Oppportunities ( http://www.fbo.gov ). The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. DESCRIPTION: Seeking market capability to provide/meet the following minimum requirement: Reliance 980-LFC Chair (or equivalent) - Chair must be compatible with the floor unit, vice versa - Powered Hydraulic and Reclining Top to cut wasted movement, eliminate the need to reach over patient. - Chair must have a programmable safety function to prevent children from operating chair, for patient and staff safety. - Minimum length of chair (without headrest) in the laying position: 60" - Minimum seat size: 18¾" wide, 18¼" deep. - Chair must have two base heights. HIGH: minimum 24" when lowered, maximum 35" when raised. LOW: minimum 22" when lowered, maximum 30" when raised. - Minimum distance between armrests must be 18" - Standard electric: 120 volts, 50/60 Hz, 6.3 amperes total. - Must be color black Reliance 7800-IC Floor Unit (or equivalent) - Chair needs to be compatible with the chair, vice versa. - Must have adjustable slit lamp arm, upper refractor arm and overhead lamp. - Must have an instrument well. - Max reach for height to top of console: 36". Max reach for height to top of pole: 71". - Base minimum is 21" x 21". - Electrical: 115 volts, 60 Hz, 3 amperes. NOTE: equivalency shall be determined based on the salient specifications contained in this RFI.
