- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1) SciFinder Subscription Renewal,Qty 1. This requirement is sole sourced to Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), P.O. Box 82228, Columbus, OH 43202-0228 as the only vendor source that can provide the proprietary data that includes over 23 million records from journals and patents of chemical information and provides direct access to scientific literature and patent references back to the beginning of the scientific century. SciFinder is a Trademark of the American Chemical Society. Any firms believing that they can provide the materials may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO.
