- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLC SD) Regional Contracts Department is conducting a Sources Sought to determine capability of industry to participate in a competitive acquisition to provide services of Motorola XTS 5000, XTS 5000R handheld radios and XTL 5000 Base Station, which will include troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, firmware updates/upgrades, testing of the radios and base stations and minor cosmetic repairs. An IDIQ contract type is anticipated. The requirement is for a base year plus two (2) one-year option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The purpose of this notice is to garner capability from industry for this requirement. In response to this Sources Sought, provide via EMAIL ONLY, your CAGE Code, DUNS, SAM status (with expiration date), and a capability statement along with a point of contact. Clearly identify your company size (LB, SB, SDB, SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, or 8(a)). Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. This Sources Sought is NOT a Request for Quote, invitation for bid (IFB), or an announcement of a solicitation. The request is for informational purposes only. It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability and adequacy of potential competitive sources prior to issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this Sources Sought. It is requested that interested sources submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 total pages in length, 12-point font minimum) addressing capabilities per the task requirements listed in the attached Draft Statement of Work. Capabilities shall include a clear demonstration of successful performance in same or similar areas. Interested parties should submit the required information in electronic Microsoft Word or PDF format to Kimberly Rieder via email to kimberly.rieder@navy.mil. Emails should be addressed with the subject title Motorola Radio Repair . Submittals will not be returned to the sender. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. FLC SD will utilize the information for Market Research. Submissions must be received no later than 05:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on 28 February 2017.
