- Presolicitation: Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, R17PS00145, (written) is approximately the third week of February 2017. The anticipated closing date is March 3, 2017. The anticipated award date is the second week of March. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to awarding any contract resulting from this solicitation. These items will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. This requirement is a woman owned socio-economic set aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation. The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office has a requirement for a Flange Facer Milling Machine for the Ring Seal Gates and Ring Seal Gate Seat rings at the Grand Coulee Dam outlet works. This is a total Women Owned Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 333517. Per FAR 19.102 (Nonmanufacturer Rule), the equipment supplied must be manufactured by a small business.
