Description

Limited Sources Justification DOTO_GS-10F-0034J_AG-3144-D-17-0076 Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has been working extensively the past six months with a focus on developing a new vision, mission and operating values with a foundation built on collaborative decision making. The process of cascading these elements to the second tier of leadership was also begun. The third phase will focus on facilitating the development of policy, procedures, and processes enabling and expanding integrated management and collaborative decision making in the Office of the CIO as well as involvement of the leadership team of the organization. This includes: communications training and facilitation with leadership across OCIO at monthly meetings and as needed with key staff supporting implementation of a centralized communications strategy and integrating information flow across OCIO's interdependent functional areas, communicate technology and process changes in everyday business language, improve overall communications effectiveness with customers, improve employee engagement, reduce organizational turnover, and improve overall organizational performance.
