Special Notice Request for Information Only The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for VIP certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources of the following. STATEMENT OF WORK/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Department of Veterans Affairs VA Puget Sound Health Care System Overview: VA Puget Sound Health Care System requires replacement/purchase of suction regulators be it to maintain a patients airway or drainage procedures. Objective: Our objective is to provide VAPSHCS providers with necessary equipment in order to provide the best care for our veterans. Salient Characteristics Continuous/Intermittent Suction Regulator CONTROL UNIT Operating Modes: OFF, Regulated and Intermittent Regulated Vacuum Range: 0-300 mm Hg (Regulated) 0-150 mm Hg (Intermittent) Cycle Times: 17 seconds of suction followed by 10 seconds without suction Safety Relief Valves: 1 @ 320 mm Hg (Regulated) 1 @ 170 mm Hg (Intermittent) Vacuum Gauge Scale: 0-300 mm Hg in 5 mm Hg increments 0-40 kPa in 2 kPa increments Dimensions: 6.8" H x 2.65" W x 4.07" D (174 mm x 67 mm x 104 mm) Weight: 1.3 lbs. (0.59 kg) Warranty: 10 years This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements and is a VIP certified SDVOSB or VOSB vendor may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 12 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Only authorized representatives of the manufacturer will be considered. Equipment must be new, no used or refurbished equipment accepted. Responses are due by 02/23/2017 12:00 pm EST. In accordance with FAR and VAAR Part 8 and/or 13, this notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, 19 Jan 2017.
