- The National Park Service (NPS), Southeast Regional Office (SERO), Atlanta Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Exterior Painting of Charles Pinckney House project for the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site in Mount Pleasant, SC. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for preparation, painting, finishing work, clean up and related items necessary to complete the work. Work will include surface preparation, damaged wood repair, wood filler repair, caulking, glazing, and preparing repairs as needed of all surfaces to be painted. Type of Procurement: This will be a negotiated requirement. Firm Fixed price contract with an anticipated start date in April 2017. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code Classification and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238320, and the size standard is $15.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESSES. Responsible small business sources may submit an offer which, if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. This presolicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but pre-notice of an upcoming solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below. PUBLICIZING: The solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) and its attachments will be issued electronically, estimated on or about 10 April 2017. The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, website at https://www.fedconnect.net. Proposal documents will be available for download in Microsoft Word, HTML, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF; Specifications will be available in Adobe PDF format. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a DUNS number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
