Description
The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) is contemplating to procure the manufacture of the Line Items cited below for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a total maximum quantity of 225 each of Annula Ball Bearing to support the TF33 Engine. This requirement is anticipated to be competitive. 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued 17February 2017 Closes 27 March 2017 2. PR# - FD2030-17-00183 3. RFQ#- FA8121-17-R-0025-This will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with a 3-year basic. 4. Spare - New Manufacture 5. Item: Annula Ball Bearing 6. NSN- 3110-00-246-9784RV PN /489699 7. Description: CLIN 0001-Annual, Ball, Bearing for TF33 Engine, 2 Bearing Ball, Length- 5.9100 in, Width-1.000 in, Height-4.33000 in, Weight 7.500 lbs. CLIN 0002-CEMS TRACKING 8. Total Line Item Quantity: Year One- L/I 0001-25 Each, L/I 0002 -1 Lot Year Two- L/I 0001-68 Each, L/I 0002- 1 Lot Year Three-L/I 0001-57 Each, L/I 0002- 1 Lot 9. Delivery: CLIN 0001- Delivery of 5 each on 01 June 2018, and 5 each thereafter until delivery is complete. Early Delivery is Acceptable. CLIN 0002- Delivery of 1 unit each per month 12. Sources must be approved prior to award. Additional sources for this item require engineering source approval by the original equipment manufacturer, United Technologies Corporation, DBA: Pratt Whitney Military Engines. Currently approved sources: United Technologies Corporation SKF USA, INC IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(i), All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207 (c) (15) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
