- This is a Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written Solicitation is included in this posting. The solicitation number is VA263-17-Q-0341 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This requirement is open for all businesses. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561320, Temporary Help Services, with a size standard of $27.5 million. To be considered for award of a Government contract, the offeror must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Offerors are encouraged to go to the SAM database www.sam.gov and start the registration process as soon as possible to avoid possible delays should the contractor be selected as a prospective awardee. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 is soliciting quotes for a Firm-Fixed Price contract to an offeror capable of providing Psychiatry Services on site at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, IA 50310-5774. The anticipated period of performance will be from April 1, 2017 (or date of award) through September 30, 2017 for the Base Period, with a six (6) month option period. Option periods are exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. The date for receipt of offers in no later than March 3, 2017, 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.
