- Statement of Need IMAGING/PAIN TABLE (w/spine positioning system) Background: The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) has a requirement for one (1) CFPM 400 Imaging Table, 2 table top pad, foot controls, and Spine Positioning System II. The current table utilized in the Procedure Room at the facility is in poor condition and must be replaced, as it can no longer be repaired due to the age of the unit, and parts are inaccessible. Scope of Work: The Oakworks Medical Imaging Table, model CFPM 400, is the table that will provide all of the characteristics listed below required by the facility and providers in this field. Very precise and delicate procedures using injectable devices into very significant areas such as the spine are performed using this table, and the quality, functionality and safety of this table is of high importance. The new table will also have a thicker table top pad which will accommodate bariatric patients creating a more comfortable environment. Weight Capacity Multi-Function Hand Control Foot Controls 2 Radiolucent Comfort Foam Table Top Pad 4 Locking Casters Crescent Face Rest Pad w/Integrated Headrest Top Spine Positioning System II Patient Safety Straps FDA Listed CE Marked cETLus approved CB Certificate Salient Characteristics of the Spine Positioning System Optimal imaging High radiolucency and flexibility for ideal cervical, thoracic, and lumbar visualization Enhanced Patient Comfort/Minimizes unwanted movement, and reduces procedure time Stable design, Large contoured torso pad cradels patient and the strap securely fastens the system to the table Additional Information: The Oakworks Table has been researched and compared to other tables, and found to be, by the subject matter experts, to be the table that will provide the best functionality, durability, and most importantly, safety for providers and patients as they receive invasive treatment for pain. The CFPM table provides the lowest adjustable height range (26 - 44 ) compared to competitors. This feature accommodates veterans who utilize wheelchairs making the transition safer and easier from chair to table. The CFPM table also offers a 2 mattress upgrade which is essential for bariatric patients comfort while using the table. Delivery: Delivery shall be within thirty (30) days from the time of award. The Imaging/Pain Table and accessories shall be delivered to the Lebanon VAMC located at 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042; Attn; Warehouse. BioMedical Engineering will need to perform a safety check and enter the equipment in to the system for annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) checks. Placement in the LVAMC clinic shall be coordinated through the Bio-Medical Engineer, OR Nurse Manager, or Surgery Operations Manager.
