Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide construction of SOF Advanced Skills Training Facility, at Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina. This work includes the construction of one new 68,100 SF, three-story Advanced Skills Training Facility. The Advanced Skills Training Facility will include administrative/operations spaces, work / planning rooms, classrooms (XXI), video teleconference (VTC) rooms, interview rooms, break areas, ADA compliant restrooms, storage and supply space, and a loading area. A Secure Area will be provided in accordance with ICD / ICS Technical Guidance. TEMPEST requirements, if any, are pending. Built-in building systems include fire alarm/mass notification, fire suppression, energy management controls, telephone, advanced unclassified and classified communications networks, cable television, intrusion detection, closed circuit surveillance, electronic access control, and a protected distribution system (PDS). Supporting facilities include site preparation, utilities (electrical, water, sanitary sewer, natural gas, chilled water, and information systems), lighting, vehicle parking, access drives and roads, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, and other site improvements. Special construction includes a controlled access area, sustainable construction features complying with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) "Silver." Access for persons with disabilities will be provided. Comprehensive interior design and audio visual services are included. The project includes demolition and disposal of current, dilapidated facilities. Antiterrorism/Force protection measures and sustainment mandates will be incorporated. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. Network analysis will be required. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about March 8, 2017. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation. After completing SAM, in order to download documents contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov.
