Description

Amendment 1 is issued to extend the proposal due date, to answer questions, and to clarify pricing. Due date is now 3/2/2017 at 12:00 noon. Questions received: 1. Is the approximate BTU/Hr sizing given, an accurate Load for the Equipment Heat Load, Lights, & personnel for each of the Comm Rooms? Is there any allowance such as 10-15% for aiging of the New Units. Answer: No allowance. 2. I do not see in the MATIC Default Specs the % Humidity Range that the Comm Rooms are to be Maintained, is just required to stay above 40% or is it required to Maintain between 40-60%, or 35-65%? Answer: Required to maintain between 40-60% 3. Does KANG have a Temporary cooling unit for operation of the Comm Room, while the New Unit is being installed, Time frame approximately one week, or is the Contractor to Allow for those costs in their Bid? Also, is the Cntractor to have salvage right to the old units removed? Answer: MTC will rent cooling unit for the operation. Yes the contractor have the rights to remove and salvage old units. Clarification regarding Pricing submittal: Contractors should submit their prices assuming that they will have the rights to the removed equipment and can salvage the same. The Government does not want to retain any equipment/salvage removed.
