Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) unless otherwise noted herein. The NJ Army National Guard requires rental of 35 wheeled trailers with locking capabilities, suitable, licensed and registered for interstate highway travel to transport individual equipment, tents, etc. Trailers shall be between 40 - 53 feet in length to be dropped off & picked up at Army National Guard Armories throughout New Jersey. The equipment will NOT include sensitive items, HAZMAT, or ammunition. Each trailer must contain 10 load locking bars per trailer for blocking and bracing. The drop off/delivery window will be 27 MAR- 3 APR and pick up will be 5-14 JULY 2017. Trailers will be transported to Fort Pickett, VA for customer use/storage during the above dates. Trailers shall be transported via other commercial carrier. Bid MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of solicitation. The NAICS code is classified under 493110. This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines.
