Description
Department of Veterans Affairs Announcement of Accepted Sites for Fort Smith, Arkansas, Community Based Outpatient Clinic The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) conducted a market survey on November 9, 2016 to identify qualified land sites and existing buildings to accommodate a lease of 34,000 net usable square feet of space for a new community based outpatient clinic in Fort Smith, Arkansas. VA has determined that it will consider only land sites that can be fully developed and constructed in compliance with VA s space requirements using its one-step process. Notice: This notice is for informational purposes only. It is not the Solicitation for Offers nor is it a Request for Proposals and the Government will not pay any costs incurred as a result of this notice. Respondents are advised that the Government assumes no responsibility to award a lease or consider additional sites based upon this notice. Offerors are advised that VA has not conducted due diligence on any of the published sites, does not have a commitment from the landowners to sell or lease any of the published sites and is not representing the published sites are available for either purchase or lease. Furthermore, the respective landowners of any or all of these sites may have agreement(s) in-place with one or more Offerors to propose a respective site(s) to VA at the exclusion of other Offerors. The subsequent step in this procurement process will be for VA to issue a Solicitation for Offers (SFO). Interested Offerors must prepare and submit their proposals in compliance with the required information contained in the solicitation documents. Land sites that are not listed above may also be submitted by prospective Offerors if the submission complies with the requirements of the SFO. However, VA will not view any land sites that are not listed above prior to offers being evaluated. VA anticipates the SFO to be available for download in Spring 2017. An opportunity to ask procurement-related questions will be provided to all Offerors within approximately thirty (30) days following release of the solicitation documents.
