- RFI VA259-17-N-0263 Page 2 of 2 Project Title: REPLACE UPS BATTERIES (batteries and storage rack) Capability Statement Questionnaire This is a sources sought notice to determine the availability of potential sources having the capabilities to provide REPLACE UPS BATTERIES. All interested vendors are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought including commercial market information. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. This is a sources sought synopsis only. All responses should be submitted by email to eric.tuck@va.gov. Provide only the requested information below. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications relative to NAICS 221122, ELECTRIC POWER DISTRIBUTION. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FBO website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. SPECIFIED REQUIREMENT: Network Contracting Office (NCO19), Muskogee, Oklahoma is seeking sources for a potential contractor capable of providing/performing /meeting the following minimum criteria: REPLACE UPS BATTERIES (batteries and storage rack) The replacement of existing batteries for the uninterruptable power supply (UPS) system for buildings 22 & 52 at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. This proposal shall include all of the following costs such as but not limited to a 100% turnkey project with the furnishing of equipment (batteries and storage rack), installation, incidentals, delivery, dismantling of existing battery racks and the legal disposal of batteries. All work per building to be completed on one weekend excluding federal holidays and coordinated. Building 52 The existing battery system is 48 volt/ 250 amps/ 344 amp hours with a capacity of 3 hours @ 1.75 VPC and 24 cells. These parameters of capacity need to be met and a battery rack furnished. The existing battery rack and batteries is an Absolute GP Series Long Rate (connectors sized for 92A or less continuous current), (6-90G09 modules), Telecom/Cellular Station/SG&C/Solar Modular Battery String configured as 1 stack of modules, each module with (6) VRLA series-connected cells per stackable steel module. The existing system needs to be furnished with a self-test alarm system, network monitor able with standard IPV4, RJ45 connection and NIC Card to notify the VA electric department daily of the status of the system and needs to be programmed to send e-mails to VAMUSELECTRICSHOP daily. Building 22 The existing UPS system is an Eaton 9355 20/30 UPS 216 VDC s/n EA024KXX10 with the following batteries model PWHR12120W3FR all 12 volts. Each cabinet will need to 72 batteries.
