- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Regional Health Contracting Office-Atlantic (Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, NY) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement KXL Crosslinking System. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339112. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform this service, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed service are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 1100, March 1, 2017. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to lano.y.johnson.civ@mail.mil. Salient Characteristics KXL Crosslinking System 1. Provide a description of what the item/system does. Be as specific as possible. This equipment is specifically used to treat Corneal Ectasia and Dystrophies that lead to Ectasia (Corneal Warp age). 2. If there are outputs provided by the item/system, what are they, what do they tell the provider, and what process/system must it feed in to? There Are None. 3. Identify any required compatibilities There Are None. 4. Identify if it must connect to the network. If yes, they must have a current DICAP and CON with the US Army. No, it dos not need to connect to a network. 5. Identify any space requirements Stand Alone 5'x5' area spacing. 6. Identify power requirements. 110V 20/30 amp 7. Identify training requirements. Operator In-service will be conducted prior to usage 8. Identify maintenance support requirements (minimum 1 year warranty and capability of providing Manufacture support for the lifespan of the equipment) 9. Identify any special requirements not listed above. None
