Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the U.S. Special Operations Command, intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to The Praevius Group, Inc.417 N. Main Street, Suite 104 Salado, TX 76571 for Field Service Representative (FSR) support for the Advanced Mortar Protection Systems (AMPS). This sole source RFP is in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. at FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), when the supplies or services required by the agency are available only from one responsible source, or for DoD, NASA and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for. The respective Justification and Approval was approved 8 February 2017. The resultant contract shall be awarded as a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The applicable NAICS for this effort is: 332994 "Small arms, ordnance, and ordnance accessories manufacturing". The contractor shall provide maintenance, installation, and training of equipment to provide counter-fire mortar capability to include, but not limited to: conduct operator and maintainer courses, conduct "train the trainer" courses for military personnel, conducting training on level-10 maintenance of system, provide field service maintenance support, to include but not limited to tracking and inventory of systems and spare parts, bore scope pull overs, round counts, software upgrades, Tulsa updates, and repair of common problems associated with 120mm mortar tubes, provide advanced troubleshooting and maintenance, provide 24/7 reach back support over phone and email.
