Page 1 of 1 NOTICE OF INTENT The Richmond VAMC is requesting a full service contract to include original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, labor, software updates and preventative maintenance for the Nexstim NBS 4 Eximia brain stimulation system. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source commercial item procurement with Nexstim. The period of performance for this procurement shall be for 12 months with 4 one year option periods. This proposed contract action is for services which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302.   This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and ability by sending capability statements in reference to this requirement no later than 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, March 1, 2017 to:   desiree.mills-hicks@va.gov A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.   Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
