This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a request for proposal or quote. This is intended for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, in support of the Orlando VA Medical Center has a need for an Automated Immunoassay Instrument and reagents, brand name or equal, for the Lake Nona VA Medical Center Laboratory located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827-7403. This notice is intended strictly for market research purposes only to determine if full and open competition solicitation is appropriate. The intent is to find qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) base plus four option year contract. Reagent quantities are estimates only. If interested, provide a capability statement, to include your complete address, and phone and email address of contact. All vendors shall be registered in System Award Management (SAM) to be considered for any contract award. All emails from interested parties must be received by 3:00pm (EST), March 3, 2017 addressed to Debra.Flanders@va.gov. Note: Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the expense of the respondent. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ.
