- Sole Source Justification This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The US Army Mission Installation Contracting Command, Facilities Division, 976 William H Wilson Ave, Fort Stewart, Georgia, 31314 intends to award a sole source contract to procure the following services: provide up to 120 Service Members and their daughters with catering support for 1 meal aboard a riverboat to include all china, stemware, flatware, white table linens, white linen napkins, servers, and buffet attendants. The contractor will also provide one disc jockey to play music during the event. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Savannah Riverboat Cruises, 9 East River Street, Savannah, GA 31412. The associated North America Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 722320 and the Business Size Standard is $7,500,000 annually. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 15:00 PM Eastern Time, Thursday, March 02, 2017. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
