- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 9, Falls Church, VA, MN intends to award a sole source fixed price under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures to Fireball International Services Corporation, Reno, NV. This requirement is for technical support to maintain and upgrade hardware-software, integrate new hardware, develop processes to streamline production workflow and automate data processing and interpretation from a specialized aerial imaging and direct geo-referencing system. Fireball International maintains propriety ownership of the software solution used to control the customized camera system and is familiar with Service ¿s aerial remote system sensing system and hardware and software integration. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond by March 1, 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
