Description
The government is hereby requesting information/interest to establish a purchase order for the item listed below: AIRCRAFT RECOVERY LIFTING SYSTEM MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: •· * Lifting system must be reconfigurable so that all, or portions of it, can be used to lift all aircraft, from smaller, fighter type aircraft, such as F-16, up to heavy transport aircraft, such as C17, and MD11. •· * Lifting system must be packaged and stored in/on containers and/or pallets for easy loading on aircraft for rapid forward deployment to austere environments. •· * Lifting system must be able to operate on hard surface runways, as well as soft terrain, with no additional support system. •· * Lifting system must be weather resistant and function properly in adverse environmental conditions such as extreme heat, humidity, sand and dust. •· * Lifting system must be able to lift aircraft, and maintain stability, to include tethering kit with load cells, without the need to reposition and/or add additional equipment. •· * Lifting system must be completely self-contained, to include control panels, hoses, fittings, compressors, etc..., and require no additional equipment to operate, or cribbing to increase height. •· * Lifting system must be able to lift an entire aircraft, or any portion thereof, to a level configuration. (Such as in the case of a full or partial landing gear failure.) •· * Lifting system must include an operating manual in English, and comply with all ICAO requirements. •· * Lifting system must be repairable and must include at least one repair kit. Spare parts must be available. Year(s) on contract : ONE TIME BUY Destination: Djibouti, Africa Q uantity: ONE (1) COMPLETE SYSTEM. There is no guarantee that a solicitation is forthcoming; the quantity given is an estimate only and is subject to change. Evaluation factors : Lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) procedures. The Government intends to award to the vendor who meets the technical acceptability criteria described in the solicitation at the lowest price which will include compliance with the solicitation terms and conditions with no exceptions taken. **All items must comply with the Trade Agreements Act** If interested, please provide a statement with your capabilities and a brief summary of your experience to the point of contact below.
