- This requirement is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for NSN 6615-00-405-6484, ROTOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY for F-15, UH-1, CH-47, C-5, and F-5 Aircraft. The approved source is L-3 Communications Avionics, CAGE 25583, part number 502-1154-01. This is a critical application item. Higher-level quality requirements apply: quality system of ISO 9001:2008 or equivalent is required. Contract period is for one (1) base year with option to extend term of contract for four (4) one-year periods. Estimated annual demand quantity is 19 each per base year and each option years. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available. Any manufacturer other than the approved source wishing to submit a proposal must submit a completed Source Approval Request (SAR) package. Surge requirements do not apply. Required delivery is 128 days ARO. FOB Origin; Inspection/Acceptance at Destination is required. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the Request for Proposal (RFP). A copy of the solicitation will be made available via DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select Search RFPs. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the RFP will not be available to requestors. Electronic offers and offers through DIBBS are unacceptable.
