- Description
- The U.S. Government is seeking sources who are able to supply the following for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case: 1) Smartronix Network Radio Gateway DS-04, or equivalent. NRG provides Voice over IP (VoIP)/Radio over IP (RoIP) conferencing, converging voice, MIL-STD-188/184 data, HPW data, and remote radio configuration/control capability into a single standalone network appliance, The system offers communications through such industry-standard protocols as H.323, SIP, and Multicast. NRG is interoperable with WAVE, TOCNET, IPICS, Cisco Call Manager, Access Net, SIP phones, generic IP phones, and works with PDAs/cellular phones. 2) Syntonics LLC FORAX-LS, or equivalent. The FORAX LS is a high performance alternative to conventional coaxial cable, affording greater flexibility in antenna location plus electrical isolation from the user's radio. The antenna can be located up to 10 km away while the radio remains near the user, enhancing the physical security of both the radio and its user. FORAX-LS is optimized to operate in the 30-512 MHz band used for tactical communications by US and allied forces. FORAX-LS transports all VHF and UHF communications waveforms including SRW, ANW2, SINCGARS, ANDVT, and Commercial & Military SATCOM. FORAX-LS consists of a Radio Interface Unit (RIU) connected by a user-supplied optical fiber cable to an Amplifier Interface Unit (AIU). The RIU connects to the radio's antenna port using a coaxial cable. At the antenna site, the AIU connect to the customer's high power amplifier (HPA) with a coaxial cable. The purpose of this Market Survey is to obtain information to support a decision to compete procurement of these vendor-specific devices, or open compete for these and/or equivalents from other manufacturers, or conduct a sole-source procurement to Syntonics and Smartronix. Interested offerors may respond in regard to one or both of the requested items. The response should be a short statement of vendor capabilities and a description, data sheet, or specifications of the equipment that may meet the above requirements. Please submit all responses to the email address provided below no later than 24 March 2017 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement.
