- This is a sources sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of current market conditions relative to NAICS 621111 Dermatologists' offices (e.g., centers, clinics) with a size standard $11 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23) on behalf of Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVACHS), Minneapolis, MN is seeking to identify any Veteran owned small business vendors capable of providing the services of Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Medical Dermatologist. The proposed contract vehicle will be for a one year base, plus four one year options. Background: The requested services are offered under the open market and VA Managed Federal Supply Schedule contracts, Group 621 I Professional and Allied Healthcare Staffing Services, SIN 621-0008 Physician - Dermatologist. Prior to issuing a solicitation, and pursuant to the Veterans First Contracting Program, the VA is trying to ascertain if there are qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) with the capability of providing the below services: SCOPE: The Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) requires contractual services to provide specialized Dermatologist services to eligible beneficiaries of the MVAHCS, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Services shall be provided on-site for the Surgery Specialty Care Patient Service Line at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. Contractor shall provide MVAHCS Advanced Medical Dermatology services for outpatient clinic, inpatient attending, and consults. Services are required by the MVAHCS, Surgical/Specialty Care Patient Service Line (SSC PSL) in support of the Dermatology Department. Contractor shall have significant post graduate training experience in the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphomas and other skin cancers, autoimmune bullous skin diseases. The annual estimated requirement is 4.5 hour per week (every Thursday), for 202.5 hours annually (see Clinical Hours table below). Responses to these sources sought must include the following information. 1. Socio-economic status of business (i.e. SDVOSB/VOSB) 3. What medical services does your company primarily provide? 4. Are you, or have you provided Dermatology services to any federal treatment facility? If so, please provide contract number(s) for the previous three (3) years. 4. Will your company enter into a joint venture or other relationship in order to provide this service?
