Description

The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS), Ann Arbor, MI, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source reasonably available, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with St. Jude Medical Inc., 1 St Jude Medical Drive, Saint Paul, MN 55117 for furnishing Trifecta Heart Valves. NAICS 339113 applies, the small business size standard is 750 Employees. The contractor shall deliver to the VAAAHS at 2215 Fuller Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105, by 1 day ARO. An eleven (11) month ordering period IDIQ contract is anticipated with a minimum quantity of 1ea. And a maximum quantity of 24 ea. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 1200 EST on 3/3/2017. No telephonic inquiries or e-mail responses will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Rd. (54C), Attn: Chuck Lakin, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
