Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical clinic located at 13800 Veterans Way Orlando, Florida 32827 has a need to purchase 22 Anti-Suicide Doors brand name or equal in order to complete the second phase of the mental health project. This notice is intended strictly for market research purposes only to determine if full and open competition solicitation is appropriate. The intent is to find qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 332321 (Metal and Door Manufacturing) for a firm-fixed price 1 year contract. Potential sources are to respond by email at Alberto.Velazquez-Santiago@va.gov no later than March 7, 2017 at 12:01pm Eastern Time, and provide the following information: a. The Contractor shall provide detailed description of product if the item provided is an equal; response shall identify manufacturer and include parts list, along with details on how such item(s) match or exceed the salient characteristics. b.
