- Description
- NSN 7R-1620-001796510-BP, TDP VER 006, REF NR 937958-103, QTY 26 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Heroux (36164), Professional Aircraft (08XL0), and Goodrich Aerospace (02KZ1) for the repair and overhaul of nose and main landing gear used in support of the P-3 aircraft. The intention of this solicitation is to award a single award stand-alone contract. This contract will include the repair of the following items: NSN: 7RE 1620 001796510 BP NOM: Retractable Main Landing Gear P/N: 937958-103 QTY: 26 NSN: 7RE 1620 008671279 BP NOM: Shock Strut Assembly/ Nose Landing Gear P/N: 901917-101 QTY: 15 The government intends to contract on a limited source basis with the above mentioned sources if no other sources are approved at time of award, without delay due to pending SAR approvals. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336413. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with approved sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Christine Pennington, Contracting Officer, Code (N762.06), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Approved sources will be solicited on or after 14 MAR 2017 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
