Description

Under Statutory Authority 40 U.S.C. 501 and 41 U.S.C. 251 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Krames Staywell, LLC. The Vendor will provide a browser based print-on-demand program that allows health care providers to print quality educational materials at the point of care, provide/host an external website for patient access at home and provide dedicated client service representatives to support the implementation, training, and usage of the program by VA Medical Center staff. Vendor will provide a browser based print-on-demand program that allows health care providers to print quality educational materials at the point of care. Content should include single topic, evidence based, peer reviewed health sheets that present information at a 4th to 8th grade reading level and use detailed graphics, when appropriate. Health sheets should be customizable by individual health care provider. The content should be comprehensive in scope and include materials in English and Spanish. High demand health sheet content will be available in additional languages. Content should include health videos covering frequently requested health topics to aid patients with low literacy skills-per Joint Commission Standard RI 01.01.03 the organization communicates with the resident who has vision, speech, hearing, or cognitive impairments in a manner that meets the resident s needs. The VISN does not have the staffing or resources to maintain a webpage that would make this kind of health information available to patients at home. Provide Templates that allow VA to create facility specific health education materials. Provide 24/7 access to point of care health information. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 40 U.S.C. 501 and 41 U.S.C. 251 implemented in FAR 8.405-6, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a Base Year and four (4) one (1) year. Options. The NAICS Code is 511130 This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service to the Contracting Officer by 8:00AM (CST) 04/07/2017. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Krames Staywell, LLC. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Greg Jakus at Gregory.jakus2@va.gov. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
