Description

This is a notice of intent to sole source. The Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System intends to procure services from Stanford University on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. We require a radiation safety program and it is our understanding that due to the unique nature of the services, they are the only vendor that can provide these services. The Justification and Approval documenting our rationale is attached to this notice. The Statement of Work is also attached. If any vendors believe they would be able to provide these services, please send an email to Michael.hodahkwen@va.gov before 4:00 P.M. Pacific Time on March 15, 2017. In the email you must address how our rationale that Stanford University is the only vendor that is capable of providing this service is incorrect and how you would be able to meet all of the requirements in the Statement of Work. Solicitation number VA261-17-Q-0350 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement.
