Description

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS REVISED AND STATEMENT OF WORK NOTE: THE SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 2, 2017 AT 0900. A REVISED STATEMENT OF WORK WILL BE POSTED NO LATER THAN MARCH 3, 2017, 1500 PST. Question #1 Are there any existing leased oxygen tank at any of the locations? Answer #1 No. All oxygen tanks are the property of the USG. Question #2 Are contractors required to provide oxygen tanks to any of the locations? Answer #2 No. This requirement is strictly for the delivery of oxygen to the facilities. Question #3 Who is responsible for the maintenance of the oxygen tanks? Answer #3 The USG is responsible for the maintenance; however contractors are required to take care while on USG property and not cause any damage. Question #4 Under 3. Contractor Qualification Requirements, What training is involved? Answer #4 None. This part has been removed from the Statement of Work. Question #5 Does the contractor need to certify annually to the accuracy of their gauges? Answer #5 No. This requirement has been removed from the Statement of Work. Question #6 Does the contractor need to honor the contract s bulk oxygen contract price for a maximum of one-hundred and eighty days beyond the scheduled expiration of the contract period? Answer #6 No. This requirement has been removed from the Statement of Work. Question #7 Are contractors required to provide all of the materials, equipment and labor for this contract? Answer #7 Yes. The USG will only provide the tanks and access to the tanks. Contractors are required to provide whatever equipment/vehicles needed to make the deliveries and connect to the tanks.
