Description
we received the following questions and respond as follows: Q: Since your pictures are very clear, is the site visit mandatory? A: Site visits are needed for the vendor to ascertain the condition of the chairs. This is a firm-fixed price requirements and vendors will not be allowed to change award pricing upon receipt of the chairs should they forgo the site visit. Q: Are the chairs loose and wobbly, needing re-gluing? A:No they are not. The do need re-touching scratches. Q: Are there any broken parts such as legs that need repairs? A: No. Q: How many chairs can you let us take at a time, so we can figure out how many pick-up and delivery trips you will need us to include in our pricing proposal? A: There are a total of 160 chairs, 20 can be taken at a time. Q: Also to minimize trips, will we be able to pick-up another batch of chairs at the same time we deliver back to you? A: Yes, arrangements must be made in advance with the Government Technical Representative so that the warehouse crew is alerted. Q: Can you please provide us the exact address where the site visit will be for the Chairs Solicitation Number: DJJ-17-S-APG-0011? A: US Dept. of Justice RFK Building, 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20530 Q: I'm not clear whether I can visit and see all the chairs before I submit my quote or not? A: Yes, all the chairs can be looked at when you visit. As stated a site visit is required. Please contact the Government Technical Representative (paragraph 1.10.2) to arrange a date and time for the visit. Q: I'm reviewing the Upholstery Services Solicitation Number: DJJ-17-S-APG-001, just need clarification if the proposal should be mail, fax or email to you?
