Description
This is a notice of intent that HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA/A4K anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking a Firm-Fixed Price Type Acquisition for the Purchase of Two (2) Each of the BAK-14M (Aircraft Arresting System Modifications). The National Stock Number (NSN) is: 1710-01-604-4155RN. This acquisition is Sole Source to Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation (ESCO) (Cage Code: 21439). Delivery will be 100 Days After Receipt Order. The RFP will be issued using electronic procedures but will not be posted on ww.fbo.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
