Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing brand-name Musical Instruments to the United States Government in accordance with RFQ N00189-16-T-G092. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-17-Q-G002. The NAICS code is 339992- Musical Instruments Manufacturing, and the small business standard is 1000 employees. This is a full and open competitive action, and it is anticipated that ONLY ONE award will result from this solicitation. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Contract Specialist via e-mail or fax ONLY. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendor ™s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.acq.osd.mil. Lack of registration in the System Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) will make a vendor ineligible for award. The Government anticipates release of the RFQ around the mid-week of March 2017.
