Description
The U.S. Government is seeking sources to support a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) in the purchase of Radio Frequency (RF) Communications Equipment. The purpose of this Market Research is to identify sources that can manufacture and supply the following list of RF communications equipment to a foreign military sales customer: a) Six (6) AN/VRC-92E - Dual, Long-Range Radio System, non-GPS, with vehicle adapter assembly (VAA), not including receiver-transmitters, or equivalent. b) Six (6) M88A2 HERCULES Heavy Recovery Vehicle Installation Kits for the AN/VRC-92E, or equivalent radio system. c) Unit-level Spares for three (3) years - (AN/VRC-92E System, Long-Range Radio System, non-GPS, with vehicle adapter assembly (VAA), not including receiver-transmitters, or equivalent). The AN/VRC-92E dual radio system must be able to accommodate an RT-1523F/U SINCGARS single channel receiver-transmitter. The quantity RT-1523s will come from existing army stock. Because of this the radio systems must be the same form fit and function of the existing AN/VRC-92E. The radio system when joined with the RT-1523F must exist as a self-contained ruggedized unit with a secure modular fit and must match or exceed all performance specifications of the AN/VRC-92E. The contractor company must be ISO 9001-2008 certified. Company must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Please submit all responses, to include a detailed description of contractor qualifications and experience no later than 17 March 2017. This announcement is an amended update to announcement 5932-1. The requirements in this announcement have changed. Responses are required by 17 March 2017. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement.
